how to clean your brushes

washing brushes = washing face

washing your brushes is very important because you have all the oils, old make up, the sebum, dirt, it's all trapped on an uncleaned brush. the next day of applying it on your face again your applying all that germ, all that bacteria back on your face and you can actually breakout from that ( it always happens to me, and this is a lesson learned ^_-) so washing your brushes is extremely important.

i'm gonna show you how to properly wash and care for your brushes and disinfect it too.
this method is used by painters and it works extremely well :)

the supplies are super easy and extremely inexpensive

anti-bacterial dish-washing liquid
it removes every single thing on your brush. it removes pigments, removes oil, removes dirt and it also kills bacteria so it does all in one. dishwashing liquid will dry the hair of its natural oil and it's gonna dry out the hair.

  virgin coconut oil
or you may use virgin olive oil

so you want to recondition your brush so that's where virgin coconut oil comes in it.

  wired hanger
wooden clips or plastic clips

let's get started ^_^

pour the dishwashing liquid in the plate

pour just a little bit of virgin coconut oil

stir the brush in  a circular motion

wipe it back and forth on your hand
you are removing all pigments and killing bacteria

rinse your brushes
warm water is fine (hot water will damage the brush)
squeeze out until the water is clear

now that you brushes are clean you just gonna wipe them dry with a paper towel
blot out excess water with a paper towel

 dry your brushes upside down
clip your brush in place
you can put them on your bathroom

after a couple of hours
let's check your brushes if they are totally dry :)

and wow... look at how clean my brushes are now!!!

good luck
